Install the native application

An native iPhone/iPad/Android application can be installed to make posting into iReportBook easier.

To install the native application for iPhone/iPad or Android phones or tablets:

1. Run the App Store
2. Search for WordPress
3. Install WordPress by Automattic Inc.
4. Run the WordPress application
5. Add self hosted WordPress blog
6. Enter the URL, Username and Password of the iReportbook
7. Select Add Blog

Once added, you would be able to post text/photo/video into the iReportBook via the application.

Adding a Post (PC)

To add a post in iReportbook using a PC:

1. Run a  browser application
2. Go to the iReportBook URL
3. Log in with your user name and password
4. Click the New Post Link
5. Enter the post content (title, content, etc)
6. Inset media if needed
7. Click Publish

2. Select the iReportBook to post
3. Select the Post section
4. Click the New Post Button
5. Enter the post content (title, content, etc)
6. Set the post status to Publish
7. Click the Upload Now Button

To add a photo to a post in iReportbook using an Android phone/tablet:

1. Run the native WordPress application
2. Select the iReportBook to post
3. Select the Post section
4. Select the post to edit
5. Select Edit Post action
6. In the post, under Media, click the Add Button
7. Select Select a photo from gallery
8. Select the photo you want
9. Click the Save Button

1. Run the WordPress application
2. Select the iReportBook to post
3. Select the Post section
4. Select the post to edit
5. Select Edit Post action
6. In the post, under Media, click the Add Button
7. Select Take a new photo
8. Take the photo and click Save
9. Click the Save Button

1. In the post, select the Media Button
2. Click the Add Button
3. Select Add Photo from Library
4. Select the photo you want in the library
5. Select the image size
6. Wait for the photo to be fully uploaded
7. Select the image added
8. Click the Insert Button
9. Select Above/Below Content

1. In the post, select the Media Button

3. Select Take Photo
4. Take the photo and select Use
5. Select the image size
6. Wait for the photo to be fully uploaded
7. Select the image added
8. Click the Insert Button
9. Select Above/Below Content

Reading a new post/comment

When a new post/comment is posted, the teacher/parent will get an email notification.

To read the post/comment:

1. In the email notification, click on the post title link
2. Log in to the iReportBook

The content will be displayed.

1. In the post email notification, click on the Add a comment to this post link
2. Log in to the iReportBook. The content will be displayed
3. Scroll down to the comment box
4. Enter the comment
5. Click Publish
